Production Scheduler
Yolk Recruitment are supporting a growing South Wales manufacturer with the recruitment of a Production Scheduler to join their expanding operation.

Following substantial investment in new machinery and with further expansion plans already underway, the company is looking for a Production Scheduler who can help bring greater visibility, structure and control to a varied manufacturing environment.
Unlike traditional high-volume production environments, this role offers genuine variety. You'll be coordinating the manufacture of multiple bespoke and batch-built products, balancing changing priorities, managing production capacity and ensuring materials and resources are aligned to customer demand. If you enjoy problem-solving, working closely with production teams and making a real impact on operational performance, this could be the perfect next move.
Key responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining detailed production schedules to maximise factory efficiency and on-time delivery performance.
- Planning production capacity across multiple work centres and manufacturing processes.
- Using ERP and MRP systems to manage work orders, production priorities and scheduling activities.
- Monitoring production progress and adjusting schedules in response to changing customer requirements.
- Liaising with Purchasing to ensure materials are available when required.
- Working closely with Production, Operations and Senior Management to identify bottlenecks and improve workflow.
- Analysing production data and reporting on performance, capacity utilisation and schedule adherence.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across planning and manufacturing processes.
- Helping to drive greater structure, visibility and control throughout the production operation.
This is what you'll need:
- Previous experience as a Production Scheduler, Production Planner, Manufacturing Planner, Production Controller or Production Coordinator.
- Strong experience working with ERP or MRP systems
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills.
