Red Rock Partnership are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client for an experienced Production Supervisor to join their busy operations team in Peterborough.
This is a temporary to permanent opportunity, with a permanent contract available after 12 weeks, subject to performance and attendance.
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- 6:00am – 2:00pm
- 37.5 hours per week
Please note: Flexibility is essential, as shift times may change and weekend working will be required during busy promotional periods.
Pay & Benefits
- £14.02 per hour
- Monthly pay (paid on the last working day of the month)
- 25 days annual leave plus 3 bank holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day)
- Temporary to permanent opportunity after 12 weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support the day-to-day operation of the production team.
- Ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately and on time.
- Monitor quality standards and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed.
- Lead, motivate and support your team to achieve operational targets.
- Complete production paperwork and communicate effectively with other departments.
- Support production activities during busy periods and safely operate pallet trucks to move stock and materials when required.
About You
- Previous experience as a Production Supervisor or Team Leader within a production, logistics, warehousing or supply chain environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- A hands-on approach with excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures.
- Flexible to work varying shift patterns and weekends during peak operational periods.
