We are seeking a highly motivated Production Team Leader to join our client's dynamic team based in Birmingham, West Midlands. This permanent role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the production line, overseeing a dedicated team, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. The Production Team Leader will be responsible for coordinating daily production activities, implementing Lean manufacturing principles, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives through Six Sigma methodologies. As a key leader, you will motivate staff, optimise processes, and ensure production targets are met while adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Proven experience as a Production Team Leader or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
- Outstanding organisational and problem-solving abilities
- Good communication skills, ensuring clear and effective dialogue across teams and departments
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing production demands
- Previous experience implementing process improvements and efficiency enhancements
