Paint Plant Team Leader Job Description
- Lead the Paint Plant team to achieve production, quality and delivery targets.
- Ensure manufacturing processes, work instructions and 5S standards are consistently followed.
- Monitor production performance, equipment, stock transactions and production documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement through problem solving, root cause analysis and process optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality standards across the department.
Paint Plant Team Leader Essential Experience, Skills & Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a high-volume automotive manufacturing environment.
- NVQ Level 2, BTEC or equivalent qualification, with willingness to work towards a recognised supervisory qualification.
- Strong leadership, communication and people management skills.
- Knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies, quality systems and manufacturing KPIs.
- Excellent IT, analytical and problem-solving skills with a flexible and proactive approach.
