A pivotal leadership role as a Senior Associate in our client's Professional Negligence team, providing the opportunity to lead and mentor a team, ensuring the highest standards of commercial awareness, client care, and technical advice.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Provide accurate, timely, and empathetic advice across the Professional Negligence team.
- Supervise and technically mentor the team, embedding high standards of practice.
- Handle a small caseload of multi-track level disputes.
- Support, lead, and deliver change initiatives within the department.
- Develop and maintain supportive relationships with team members to foster development and retention.
- Actively participate in the management team to cultivate a culture of excellence and recognition as an employer of choice.
- Scope, communicate, and support change activities, ensuring successful implementation and team adaptation.
- Share knowledge and best practices within the team and the wider management group.
- Collaborate with Principal Associates to meet SLA’s, KPI’s, and financial targets, driving efficiency and performance.
- Ensure cost-effective case management and maintain a focus on positive client outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified solicitor, legal executive, or equivalent with rights of audience.
- Essential experience in technical supervision within a Professional Negligence setting.
- Customer-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality and efficient service.
- Experience in an SRA regulated environment is mandatory.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to act independently and prioritize under pressure.
- Experience managing complex cases and resolving disputes through courts, mediation, or ADR techniques.
