We are seeking an accomplished and highly motivated Programme Manager with experience of R&D and operations to oversee and strategically direct all project initiatives across a diverse group of operations. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional capable of managing complex programmes, ensuring operational excellence, and contributing to the strategic growth of the business. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving successful project delivery, managing critical site operations, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Programme Manager – Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Programme Leadership: Provide comprehensive oversight and strategic direction for all projects within the group portfolio, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and delivering successful outcomes.

  • Operational Management: Manage and support critical site operations including addressing customer support escalations and optimising operational workflows.

  • Team Leadership & Development: Serve as an effective leader and mentor, supporting various business activities and contributing to the professional development of project teams.

  • Site Rationalisation Initiatives: Potentially lead and manage strategic initiatives related to site consolidation or closure, ensuring minimal disruption and adherence to business objectives.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and successful project integration.

  • Travel & On-Site Presence: Maintain a willingness to travel if required to customers or suppliers.

Programme Manager – Qualifications:

  • Experience:

    • Minimum of 10+ years of progressive experience in programme and project management roles, preferably within a multi-site or group-level environment.

    • Demonstrated track record of successfully delivering complex programmes on time and within budget.

  • Skills:

    • Exceptional leadership, organisational, and communication skills.

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and mitigating risks.

    • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

  • Attributes:

    • A dedicated, results-oriented professional with a strong commitment to operational excellence.

    • High degree of flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to respond effectively to evolving business needs.
