Job Title: Project Architect

Salary: £37-43,000 DOE

An award-winning multidisciplinary design practice is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join its expanding team. The practice delivers innovative and technically challenging projects across a diverse range of sectors, including residential, commercial, retail, healthcare, leisure, student accommodation and mixed-use developments throughout the UK. With a strong focus on design quality, technical excellence and collaborative working, the successful candidate will play a key role in leading projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants and internal teams. The position is based in Sheffield and requires attendance in the office five days per week.

Daily Duties
- Lead architectural projects from concept design through to completion.
- Manage project programmes, deliverables and design coordination.
- Prepare and review planning, technical and construction drawing packages.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality requirements.
- Oversee compliance with UK Building Regulations, planning requirements and industry standards.
- Mentor and support junior members of the architectural team.
- Attend client meetings, design reviews and site visits as required.
- Contribute to project problem-solving and technical design development throughout all project stages.
Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Architect with relevant post-qualification experience delivering projects in the UK.
- Experience leading projects through multiple RIBA work stages.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of UK Building Regulations and construction methods.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or Revit, with BIM experience advantageous.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Collaborative and proactive approach to project delivery.
- Comfortable working in a fully office-based role, five days per week.
- Ambitious individual seeking long-term career progression within a multidisciplinary practice.
