Project Electrician (Qualified & Testing)

About the Role
We’re partnering with an established and growing building services contractor to appoint a highly capable Electrician to join their London-based team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, technically strong electrician who enjoys a varied workload and takes real pride in delivering high-quality work across both installation and testing projects.
You’ll be working across a diverse portfolio of commercial and residential environments, with responsibility for both hands-on delivery and supporting the successful completion of projects from initial works through to testing and sign-off.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation experience essential. Maintenance experience not required.
- Deliver high-quality electrical installations, upgrades, and maintenance works
- Carry out fault-finding and diagnostics across a range of systems
- Undertake testing, inspection, and certification in line with current regulations
- Install lighting, power, and associated building services systems
- Support site surveys and provide technical input where required
- Ensure all works are compliant with current legislation and safety standards
- Complete all documentation to a high and accurate standard
- Build strong working relationships with clients and colleagues on site
- Maintain a proactive, solutions-focused approach to all tasks
Skills & Experience:
- Strong background in commercial and residential electrical installations
- Proven experience in fault-finding, testing, and inspection
- Confident working independently and managing workloads effectively
- Experience working within live/occupied environments
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to high standards
Qualifications & Training
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Electrical Installation
- BS7671 – 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Recognised electrical apprenticeship
Highly Desirable:
- City & Guilds 2391 – Inspection & Testing
- ECS / CSCS Card
Additional Training:
- Health & Safety (site-based practice)
