Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Stretford
Salary: £55,000
Shift: Days Monday to Friday (37.5 hour week with flexible start/finish times)
Job Role of the Project Engineer:

As a Project Engineer, you’ll lead the planning and delivery of site projects following Capex approval, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. Working with both internal teams and external partners, you’ll play a key role in driving improvements and supporting the site’s future direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate project activities and meetings
- Identify risks and implement mitigation plans
- Oversee quality and technical delivery
- Communicate with stakeholders and maintain strong working relationships
- Collaborate with production teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth execution
Sector – Factory Maintenance
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Project Engineer:
- Strong Project management experience within a manufacturing environment
Requirements for the Project Engineer:
- Proven experience managing projects up to £1 million
- Multi skilled with an electrical bias (60/40 mechanical candidates welcome to apply)
- Experience developing project documentation including Scope of Work, RAMS, ITPs
- Apprentice trained or an engineering or Project Management qualification
- A confident self starter, who is able to hit the ground running and can bring their experience to the business
Desirable for the Project Engineer:
- Experience within heavy or FMCG manufacturing environments
