The Role
We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Project Engineer to join a high-performing team based in London. You will play a central role in planning, coordinating, and executing engineering projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. This is an opportunity to work on significant, high-value projects in a business that invests in its people and its work.

· Develop detailed project plans, resource schedules, and risk registers, keeping all documentation accurate and up to date.
· Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, contractors, and internal stakeholders, managing expectations and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
· Coordinate and oversee the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist consultants, ensuring all parties deliver to agreed standards and timescales.
· Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, escalating where necessary and implementing effective mitigation strategies.
· Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and health and safety requirements.
· Conduct site visits and technical reviews as required, providing engineering oversight and quality assurance.
· Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, sharing lessons learned and best practice across the wider team.
· Support business development activities including tender preparation and client presentations where required.
What We Are Looking For
· Significant experience in a Project Engineer or similar role, with a track record of delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.

· Excellent project management skills, including experience with project management tools and methodologies.
· Commercially aware, with experience managing project budgets and understanding the financial drivers of project delivery.
· Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills — you are confident presenting to senior clients and managing difficult conversations when required.
· Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on quality.
· London-based or able to commute to London regularly.
