Since transitioning to an EOT structure four years ago, this multi-disciplined building consultancy has paid the EOT bonuses every year and quadrupled the performance bonus pot.
I started working with this consultancy 15 years ago, dealing with the main London Partner who had been with the company since the 80’s and opened the London office in the 90’s which he continued managing until retirement recently.
Having built a team of like-minded Partners around him, whilst retaining a hands on approach with a policy of ongoing involvement at Partner level on all projects, he has created a superb environment for senior professionals who still have the desire to learn more and ambition to progress their careers further.
They has become my favoured consultancy purely based on feedback from staff placed there over the years.
They pride themselves on delivering innovative, exciting and award winning buildings, and their collaboration with both established and emerging architects on ambitious and complex projects puts them at the leading edge of the industry.
The London office works on a wide range of sectors full life cycle including mixed use and commercial office refurbs and new builds, but also private healthcare projects and higher education. They are also working on the 2nd phase of a £250m new build film studios, a £300m mixed use development in Bristol and two large mixed use developments in Winchester and Newcastle.
In terms of the office which is superbly located and has recently been refurbished with additional break-out areas, there is a lively buzz a low average age, with most of the staff in their late 20’s and early 30’s.
The office runs a hybrid working system with most staff in the office 2-3 times a week and the rest working from site or home. This can obviously vary in both directions depending on the existing client demands.
