Scrum Project Manager – Data & AI
Remote (UK) | 12-Month Contract | Global Life Sciences Organisation
We're supporting a global Life Sciences organisation on a major Data & AI transformation programme that's reshaping regulatory processes through automation, advanced analytics and AI. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering meaningful change on a high-profile programme with real-world impact.
What you'll be doing
As Scrum Project Manager, you'll work across business and technical teams to drive Agile delivery, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently while keeping stakeholders aligned and engaged.
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading delivery using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectives.
- Coordinating cross-functional teams across business, technology and data functions.
- Translating business requirements into clear user stories and delivery plans.
- Managing project timelines, risks, dependencies and key milestones.
- Removing delivery blockers and driving continuous improvement.
- Building strong relationships with Product Owners, technical teams and senior stakeholders.
- Reporting on delivery progress, risks and outcomes to programme leadership.
- Supporting the adoption of AI-enabled and data-driven ways of working.
What we're looking for
You'll be an engaging and collaborative delivery professional who enjoys bringing teams together and creating momentum within Agile environments.
You'll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Project Manager, Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Strong experience delivering complex projects using Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Experience working closely with software development, technology or data teams.
- The ability to translate business requirements into structured delivery plans and technical solutions.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with the confidence to remove blockers and challenge where appropriate.
- Experience managing project risks, dependencies and delivery reporting.
Nice to have
- Experience within Life Sciences, Pharmaceuticals or another regulated industry.
- Exposure to Data, AI, Machine Learning or Large Language Model (LLM) programmes.
- Experience supporting regulatory, compliance or digital transformation initiatives.
- Scrum Master certification (PSM, CSM or equivalent).
