Job Purpose: Project Support Officer
To support the implementation of a range digital projects within 24/7 Services. Ensuring that new IT systems deliver the overall objectives of the Directorate and the Council.

Job Specific Project Support Officer
- To establish stakeholder contacts, develop projects and organise teams to address the desired objectives.
- To establish and support the identification of key success criteria, and drive forward cultural and system changes as identified from mapping current and to-be processes.
- Identify opportunities to develop customer involvement in the planning and engagement with services.
- Identify opportunities to develop services, evaluate issues and problems, delivering solutions to be recognised as best practice.
- Provide specialist knowledge of policy and process development and delivery
- Provide performance management of service areas, analyse and highlight trends and actions which require consideration by managers, advise and make recommendations for service improvements. Produce service area development and business plans
- Effectively communicate and negotiate proposed changes and functional improvement to all relevant staff and stakeholders
- To analyse trends using information harvested to forecast future service needs
- Collate and distribute performance reports to identified key stakeholders
