The Opportunity
This is a pivotal leadership position for an ambitious, senior property professional ready to take ownership of a growing Property Management department spanning three successful local offices.
Working closely with company Directors and Lettings teams, you will champion operational excellence, ensuring a substantial residential portfolio is managed to exceptional standards. This role offers excellent autonomy, allowing you to streamline processes, drive team performance, and directly influence the future growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership & Development: Overset, mentor, and coach the property management team across three branches, driving departmental KPIs and professional growth.
- Portfolio Oversight: Supervise the day-to-day management of a premier residential portfolio, serving as the senior escalation point for complex landlord and tenant matters.
- Compliance & Regulation: Keep the department fully aligned and updated with all modern lettings legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Operational Efficiency: Audit and refine current workflows to maximize team efficiency, maintenance response times, and overall service delivery.
- Cross-Department Collaboration: Partner strategically with Lettings, Client Accounts, and Senior Leadership to maintain industry-leading client retention and foster business growth.
The Ideal Candidate
- Property Management Expertise: Significant, hands-on experience managing residential portfolios within the London market.
- Proven Leadership: Demonstrated experience managing, supervising, or mentoring team members in a fast-paced environment.
- Legislative Sharpness: Robust, up-to-date knowledge of current UK property compliance, safety regulations, and housing acts.
- Solutions-Oriented: A proactive problem-solver with exceptional relationship-building and communication skills.
- Qualifications: An ARLA/Propertymark qualification is highly advantageous, though not strictly essential for the right leader.
