Property Manager
We're recruiting on behalf of a small, friendly property management business based in Dorking that is looking to add a Property Manager to its close-knit team.
This is a varied role where no two days are quite the same. You'll be involved in all aspects of property management, helping clients, supporting contractors and keeping developments running smoothly.
Property Manager – What will I be doing?
- Assisting with the day-to-day management of residential developments, including apartment blocks and housing estates
- Speaking with clients over the phone and responding to email enquiries
- Helping residents and clients with queries relating to communal areas and property management issues
- Liaising with insurance companies regarding claims, including water leak cases
- Arranging contractors to carry out maintenance works, rubbish removal, pest control and other property-related services
- Communicating with local authorities regarding issues such as missed bin collections
- Maintaining accurate records and filing paperwork
- Assisting with bookkeeping tasks related to property management
- Processing and filing invoices and entering information onto the QuickBooks accounting system
Property Manager – What experience do I need?
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional telephone manner
- Some property experience is essential
- Strong written communication skills
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn and develop new skills
- A flexible and positive approach to work
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
- Good IT skills
- Previous administration, customer service or office experience would be beneficial, but is not essential
Property Manager – What else do I need to know?
- Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Based in Dorking
- Office-based role
- Full training will be provided
