Experienced Property Manager
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm. Satuday 10am to 2pm ( 1 in 3}
Salary: £28,000 per annum (DOE) plus bonus
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and highly practical Property Maintenance Manager to join our clients team and support their Bradford estate agency offices. This office based role is ideal for someone who not only understands the lettings and property management process but also has strong, hands-on knowledge of routine property maintenance. The company has over 400 properties in management.
The ideal candidate will have gained this expertise through years of property ownership, hands-on repairs, or a genuine passion for DIY, enabling them to confidently diagnose issues, liaise with contractors, and ensure properties are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a portfolio of residential properties across multiple Bradford locations
- Coordinating contractors, obtaining quotes, informing the landlords and ensuring works are completed to a high standard
- Arranging regular property inspections and gas checks and producing clear, detailed reports
- Handling tenant enquiries and providing excellent customer service
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, safety standards, and company procedure
- Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
- Handling telephone enquiries? and arranging viewings if required
- Significant experience in property management within the residential lettings sector
- Strong practical understanding of property maintenance, ideally gained through personal property ownership or extensive DIY experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to assess maintenance issues confidently
- Strong communication and organisational abilities
- Ability to work independently across multiple office locations
- Full UK driving licence (ideally)
