Our client is seeking a proactive and customer-focused Property Manager to join the team at one of South London's most established residential communities.
Managing a portfolio of approximately 200 homes, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional resident experience while overseeing the day-to-day operation of a thriving mixed-tenure development. Working within a collaborative on-site team, you'll be trusted to take ownership of resident relationships, tenancy matters, maintenance coordination, compliance, and asset performance.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager from a PRS, residential, multifamily, or Build-to-Rent background looking to join a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of a residential portfolio of approximately 200 homes, ensuring an exceptional resident experience throughout the tenancy lifecycle.
- Act as the main point of contact for residents, handling enquiries, tenancy matters, and property-related issues.
- Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance works, working closely with contractors and maintenance teams to deliver high service standards.
- Conduct property inspections, oversee minor works, and identify opportunities for asset improvement.
- Manage tenancy administration including renewals, rent reviews, notices, arrears support, and resident communications.
- Ensure compliance with property management legislation and health & safety requirements across the portfolio.
- Prepare reports, support client meetings and budgets, and liaise with external stakeholders including local authorities, utility providers, and solicitors.
Your Experience:
- Proven Property Management experience within PRS, Build-to-Rent, multifamily, or residential housing.
- Strong understanding of tenancy management, property operations, and legislation including Section 8 and Section 13 processes.
- Experience managing maintenance works, contractors, and resident escalations.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Organised, proactive, and comfortable managing a busy portfolio in a fast-paced environment.
- Confident problem-solver who can make informed decisions and challenge constructively when required.
- MARLA qualified (or working towards qualification) would be advantageous.
