Our client, a highly regarded independent estate agency with a strong presence across South West London, is seeking an experienced Property Management Team Lead to oversee and develop their Property Management department across three successful offices.

The successful candidate will take ownership of the Property Management function, leading a team responsible for a substantial residential portfolio while driving operational excellence, compliance, and exceptional customer service.

Working closely with the Directors and Lettings teams, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the department, developing team performance, improving processes, and delivering outstanding service to landlords and tenants alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the Property Management team across three offices.
- Provide coaching, support, and ongoing development to team members.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of the residential portfolio.
- Act as the senior point of contact for complex landlord and tenant matters.
- Ensure maintenance issues are managed effectively and within agreed service standards.
- Monitor team performance and departmental KPIs.
- Drive efficiencies and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
- Ensure the department remains fully compliant with all current lettings legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Work collaboratively with Lettings, Accounts, and Senior Management teams.
- Support business growth through exceptional client retention and service standards.
The Ideal Candidate Our client is looking for an experienced Property Management professional who combines strong technical knowledge with proven leadership ability.
You will have:
- Significant experience within residential property management.
- Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring a team.
- Excellent knowledge of current lettings legislation and compliance requirements.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive, hands-on approach with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- ARLA Propertymark qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential.
