Responsibilities
- Lead proposition governance and ensure smooth running of the Proposition Governance Committee; produce and present key papers
- Own reporting of client fair value metrics and Consumer Duty outcomes; produce the annual holistic Client Fair Value Assessment
- Maintain a client-centric end-to-end proposition delivering fair value and preventing foreseeable harm
- Define clear market positioning and differentiation aligned to corporate strategy
- Partner with senior leaders to evolve the proposition to enhance client outcomes, competitiveness and commercial performance
- Enhance proposition MI and reporting to identify risks, enable swift escalation and mitigate client harm
- Interpret complex data to inform proposition decisions; act as trusted adviser to executive leadership
- Lead impact assessments for industry, competitor and regulatory change; oversee actions to closure
- Ensure alignment with internal governance frameworks and evolving regulatory expectations
- Manage third-party relationships, including significant outsource service providers
Requirements
- Extensive experience in wealth management and financial planning, including competitor awareness
- Proven end-to-end proposition management and oversight within wealth management
- Deep understanding of mass affluent financial planning products, client advice journeys, governance and reporting
- Strong knowledge of the UK wealth and asset management regulatory landscape, with emphasis on the Consumer Duty
- Advanced commercial and analytical capability; adept with complex data
