A global investment banking and asset management client of ours has appointed us exclusively to find them someone to join their prudential risk team. This person will play a key role in shaping how resilience is built across the European businesses by influencing prudential risk and regulatory planning at scale. Role Description
- Coordinate and deliver key recovery and wind-down planning for the Bank’s European entities, helping ensure they remain resilient, compliant and well-prepared for a range of scenarios
- Working closely with colleagues in Finance, Risk, Treasury and front office teams, as well as senior stakeholders, you will bring together insights from across the organisation to support consistent, high-quality outputs
- Making sure that there is consistency with exercises undertaken by other teams such as ICAAPs, ICARAs and ILAAPs
- Contribute to stress testing and scenario development
- Keep up to date with regulatory developments and policy changes issued by both European and UK regulatory authorities impacting recovery, resolution and wind-down planning
- Active role in governance processes and strategic planning, while engaging with senior forums and helping shape outcomes across a diverse range of business activities
Role Requirements
- Experience or knowledge of recovery and resolution planning within UK and European regulatory frameworks, or related areas such as capital adequacy or liquidity management
- Or in the absence of the RRP experience above then experience within the capital adequacy or liquidity management areas of such firms would work as well
- Awareness of regulatory developments and the ability to apply evolving policy requirements in a practical business context
- Experience contributing to or leading cross-functional projects, with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to stakeholders at all levels
