What the role actually looks like
This isn’t sitting behind a desk analysing case studies.
It’s hands-on experience supporting children and young people with:
• SEMH needs • Autism and ADHD • Behavioural challenges • Trauma-informed support • Additional learning needs
You’ll work in specialist schools, SEND settings, and alternative provisions, helping students regulate emotions, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with learning.

Building trust with students who need consistency Supporting emotional regulation and communication Using psychology in real, practical situations Becoming the reason a student feels safe, seen, and supported

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
