My client has an excellent opportunity for an experienced QA & Electrical Engineer to join their team. Candidates will have a background in electricals, SDA's, MDA's or similar.
Job Purpose:
- Implementation of the product development launch pipeline, following the Technical processes required, for right-first-time and on-time product delivery.
- Advise on product quality improvements & cost saving suggestions and following these through to implementation with OEM manufacturers.
- Meet all legal compliance standards required and constantly meet customer expectations in relation to the quality of product.
- Monitor and advise on product performance in the market by reviewing/assessing product returns and customer feedback. To produce reports on performance and advise on product improvements.
- Investigation and satisfactory resolution of customer complaints, in a timely fashion.
- Monitoring & reporting on supplier performance against a set of defined criteria, to aid supplier selection and ongoing performance measurement
Experience Required
- 3 years post qualification experience in either a manufacturing, product test or laboratory background of household appliances.
- HNC, BTECH or Degree in Electronics, Electric Engineering or Electric Qualification
- Must have an electrical engineering background, this can be electrician, white goods engineers, etc. Must have an understanding of electrics, installations, etc. British Gas, United Utilities, Service Power, etc.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Electrical Engineer. Knowledge of electricals, SDA's, MDA's or similar is essential.
