QA/QC Inspector – Nuclear (SC Cleared)

£45 per hour (Ltd Company) + Expenses
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector to support a major nuclear infrastructure project based in Reading. The role involves ensuring compliance with quality standards, inspecting works against design specifications, and supporting documentation acceptance in line with nuclear requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and acceptance of procedures and documentation in accordance with QC1 requirements
- Conduct QC inspections in line with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
- Ongoing review and final acceptance of Lifetime Records (LTRs)
- Witness testing activities and carry out on-site inspections
- Attend and contribute to project meetings as required
Essential Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (mandatory – live clearance required)
- Proven experience in a quality role on major infrastructure projects
- Strong background in civil engineering (civils biased)
- Ability to interpret and inspect works against detailed design drawings
- CSCS Card
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
