QC Food Manufacturing
Location: Doncaster
Salary: £13.60 per hour
Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Time
Shift: Monday to Friday. Option to start between 8:45am -10:00am 9hours shift with 1 hour unpaid lunch break
The primary responsibility is to perform line checks ensuring that finished products meet published quality specifications. This includes verifying product appearance, packaging integrity, labelling accuracy, and compliance with HACCP documentation.
Duties:
- Conduct line checks for:
- Product cut, size, and shape against quality specifications.
- Pack seal, gas levels, and labelling accuracy.
- Label alignment, print clarity, barcode readability, and use-by codes.
- Case weight, appearance, strapping, and labelling.
- Pallet integrity.
- Approve and release checked products for production or dispatch.
- Complete QC documentation as per HACCP requirements:
- Each product line runs to specification.
- All HACCP and quality records are completed accurately and on time.
- Issues are reported promptly to Line Manager.
- Records are secured at the end of the day.
- Support continual improvement and promote a food safety culture
- Investigate causes and solutions for non-conformance.
Qualifications / Experience:
- Food Safety Level 2
- HACCP Level 2.
- Basic IT skills (MS Office, spreadsheets, word processing).
- Previous relevant experience in a similar role.
