Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to work across secondary schools in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher or ECT to inspire students and help them develop their literacy, reading, writing, and analytical skills.

The Role
As an English Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will plan and deliver high-quality learning experiences that encourage students to achieve their full potential.
Key responsibilities include:

Teaching English Language and English Literature

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum

Assessing, monitoring, and tracking student progress

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment

Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve success
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for candidates who:

Hold QTS, PGCE, or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification

Have experience teaching English at secondary level
-
Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

Have excellent communication and organisational abilities
-
Are passionate about English and student achievement
-
Are committed to raising attainment and engagement
