EYFS Teaching Assistant (Level 3+) – Nursery Setting

Pay Rate: £14.25 – £15.00 per day (DOE)
Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in the Runcorn (WA7) area, who are seeking a qualified Level 3 (or above) EYFS Teaching Assistant to support within their nursery provision. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive early years team and play a key role in children’s development during their formative years.
The Role
- Supporting the class teacher across a busy nursery setting within a primary school
- Delivering high-quality support in line with the EYFS framework
- Assisting with planning and leading engaging, play-based learning activities
- Supporting children’s social, emotional, and educational development
- Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment
- Observing, tracking, and reporting on children’s progress
- Supporting personal care routines where required
- Ensuring safeguarding and welfare standards are consistently met
Ideal Candidate
- Holds a Level 3 qualification (or above) in Childcare/Early Years(essential for staff ratio requirements)
- Has recent experience working within an EYFS or nursery setting
- Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development
- Passionate about supporting young children’s learning and wellbeing
- Patient, nurturing, and highly adaptable
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Confident supporting across the classroom and working proactively
