Qualified Plumber
- Pay Rate: £16.47 per hour

- Job Type: Full-time, Temporary (2 – 3 months)
We are seeking a Qualified Plumber to join our team for a temporary full-time position lasting 2-3 months. The role involves carrying out a variety of domestic plumbing tasks across council dwellings, schools, and public buildings. This position requires a professional who can deliver high-quality craftsmanship and customer-oriented service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Carry out all aspects of plumbing work including maintenance, repairs, and construction projects.
- Install central heating systems, solid fuel boilers, sink units, water closets, baths, showers, and wash basins.
- Renew external gutters, fall pipes, and soil stacks as necessary.
- Renew and repair external water services and stop cocks.
- Liaise with other employees of various trades, tenants, managers, caretakers, etc.
- Work at heights using the necessary safety equipment.
- Maintain vehicle stock levels at optimum levels to ensure service efficiency.
- Submit all worksheets and documents related to the job within the required timescales.
- Carry out Driver/Labourer duties as and when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Experience with different types of hot water systems, showers, and sanitary ware.
- Proficiency in the use of mobile and digital technology for receiving and completing work.
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers.
- Capable of working independently or within a team to manage workload and identify health and safety improvements.
