Our client Wokingham borough council is looking for a Qualified social worker to join their Family Help pod.
- Provision of high quality, relationship-based social work to children, young people and families, ensuring their safety and promoting positive outcomes through effective, child-centred practice
- Delivery of robust safeguarding practice in line with statutory responsibilities for children in need, child protection, and looked after children
- Working collaboratively with families and partner agencies to co-produce purposeful plans that support sustainable change and strengthen family networks
- Contribution to effective multi-agency working, maintaining strong professional relationships to improve outcomes for children and young people
- Maintaining high standards of recording, report writing, and court work in line with legislative and organisational requirements
- Championing corporate parenting principles and promoting the best outcomes for children in care and care leavers
- Delivering effective and efficient practice in line with the Wokingham Practice Model, ensuring value for money and high-quality service delivery
