About the role
The Quality Check Coordinator will lead a team of people with learning disabilities, and/or autism, and mental health support needs, or those that represent them, to evaluate the support Certitude provides. The coordinator will work in partnership with Quality Checkers, their families and Certitude’s Quality Team to deliver an agreed programme of Quality Checks and produce reports.
Duties will include:
– Plan and deliver the Quality Check programme with the Quality Checker. – Create clear, easy to read and accessible reports providing feedback on Quality Checks for different audiences. – Facilitate the involvement of Quality Checkers in project delivery, meetings and feedback. – Support and work alongside people with experience of using services to provide training and consultancy to the project. – Liaise with and report to the Quality Assurance team and the Treat Me Right! Manager in creating the goals and aims for the Quality Check team. – Promote inclusion and co-production across the organisation in line with Certitude values, aims and equality and diversity policy.
About you
To be a Quality Checker Coordinator at Certitude, the following are essential:
– Experience of working with people with learning disabilities, autistic people and their families – Experience of working in a health or social care setting – An understanding of Quality Checking and its role in delivering great support – Able to manage mixed teams of people with and without learning disabilities and/or who are autistic
