Role Overview
Join the Core Modernisation team modernizing systems. Work within agile scrum teams (4-8 engineers) using 2-week sprints to deliver quality solutions across multiple technology stacks.
Tech Stack
- Frontend: Remix React, JavaScript
- Backend: Java, Spring, .NET
- Data: MongoDB, Oracle
- Tools: RabbitMQ, JSON
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement test automation solutions from scratch
- Apply TDD/BDD methodologies and risk-based testing
- Support CI/CD pipelines and shift-left quality practices
- Coach team members on quality engineering best practices
- Perform testing across all levels (Unit, System, Integration, NFR)
- Analyse business requirements and create testing strategies
- Manage test data and testing collateral
- Participate in development through pair-programming
Required Skills
- CI/CD pipelines

- Git/GitLab proficiency
- Strong communication and coaching abilities

- Stakeholder management
Preferred Skills
Testing tools (JUnit, Playwright, Selenium, Cucumber), performance tools (Gatling), security tools (OWASP Zap), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), cloud (AWS), and accessibility testing (WCAG, Wave, Axe).
