Quality Inspector
Location: Sheffield
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Salary: Pay Rate: £13.51 per hour plus 12.5% shift allowance
Working hours / Days: Days & Afters Rotation (Monday – Friday 6am – 2pm / 2pm-10pm)
Elevation Recruitment Group are seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join a manufacturing business in Sheffield. As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring products meet customer requirements, engineering specifications, and quality standards, while supporting and developing inspection activities across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Visual inspection of components to ensure quality standards are met.
- Working from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Recording inspection results using Microsoft Excel.
- Using measuring equipment including callipers and verniers.
- Rejecting batches that do not meet required standards.
- Operating blasting equipment as part of the final operations process.
- Supporting line checks and maintaining production quality.
Experience
- Previous inspection or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow instructions and engineering drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good computer literacy and communication skills.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and flexibility to support production requirements.
