Are you an early-career Production/Manufacturing Operative or Quality Engineer looking to take the next step in a hands-on, fast-paced manufacturing environment?
We're working with a well-established, precision-focused engineering business specialising in electrical assemblies and soldering processes. Due to continued growth, they're looking to bring in a Quality Engineer who can support day-to-day quality activities while helping drive improvements across the quality management system.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1-2 years' experience who wants real responsibility and exposure across customer quality, internal processes, and continuous improvement.
The Role
This is a varied, hands-on position where you'll be involved across all aspects of quality, including:
- Supporting and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Investigating and resolving customer quality issues and complaints
- Performing root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys) and implementing corrective actions
- Conducting internal audits and supporting external audits
- Working closely with production teams to drive quality improvements on the shop floor
- Assisting with inspection processes and ensuring product compliance
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing
What We're Looking For
- Around 1-2 years' experience in a Quality / QA / QE role in manufacturing
- Ideally some exposure to electrical, electronics, or precision assembly environments
- Knowledge of quality tools (e.g. RCA, CAPA, audits)
- Comfortable working both hands-on on the shop floor and on quality systems
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn and progress
- Strong communication skills for working across teams and with customers
