Quantity Surveyor & Senior Quantity Surveyor – Civils / Enabling Works
Location: Suffolk | Hybrid (2-3 days on site per week)
Salary: £55,000 – £75,000 + travel allowance, private healthcare, pension & more
A leading cost and project management consultancy is looking for a QS and Senior QS to join a growing commercial team delivering one of the UK's most high-profile civil engineering programmes in Suffolk.
These roles are seconded directly into one of the UK's leading main contractors – giving you rare client-side exposure within a consultancy environment, working at the heart of a complex, long-term infrastructure programme.
The Role
Working on complex civils and enabling works packages, you'll be embedded in an integrated delivery team, supporting the commercial management of major workstreams from an active stage of the programme through to completion. Some of your main responsibilities will include:
- Administer NEC3 contracts – change control, payments, and early warnings
- Manage commercial reporting, forecasting and risk
- Support governance and ensure alignment with contractual and programme obligations
- Work closely with delivery teams across a multi-disciplinary project structure
What We're Looking For
- QS: 3+ years in construction, civils or infrastructure / Senior QS: 6+ years
- Strong NEC3 administration experience – confident managing change and payments end-to-end
- Background in civils, enabling works, or major infrastructure preferred
- Comfortable with site attendance 2-3 days per week in Suffolk
