Quantity Surveyor – Bromley | Up to £70,000
Our client is a well-established, family-run construction business based in Bromley with an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality groundworks projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
- You'll be responsible for managing project costs from tender through to final accounts.
- Preparing valuations.
- Handling subcontractor procurement, and ensuring projects remain commercially successful.
- Identify and manage contract variations, early warnings, and compensation events.
- Support cost and value management, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Build strong client relationships, keeping budgets and year-end targets on track.
- Carry out site visits and maintain progress within agreed deadlines.
- Identify and manage contract variations.
- Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry
- Must have very good English language skills
- Working for a fun, outgoing business which have a lot of banter and a good sense of humour
- Live within a commutable distance of the office in Bromley and happy to travel to sites around London
- Strong knowledge of cost management, valuations, variations, subcontractor procurement, and final accounts.
- Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
- Full UK driving licence needed
