Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Sheffield that is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Religious Education to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026 through to December 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate RE specialist to make a meaningful impact, delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The Role
- Deliver high-quality RE lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
- Plan, prepare, and assess in line with the national curriculum
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages discussion and critical thinking
- Work collaboratively with the Humanities department
- Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching RE at secondary level (KS3 & KS4 essential)
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Religious Education
- Ability to engage and motivate pupils of varying abilities
- Excellent classroom management skills
- Available to work 2 days per week (days to be confirmed)
