Part-Time Reception Teacher

Location: BL4

Start Date: September 2026

Contract: Part-time (2 days per week – Thursdays & Fridays)

About the Role

Teaching Personnel are working with a local school to find a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team on a part-time basis from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality learning experiences and supporting children at the very beginning of their educational journey.

Key Responsibilities

–          Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the EYFS framework

–          Provide a nurturing, safe, and inclusive learning environment

–          Monitor, assess, and record pupils’ development and progress

–          Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning across the week

–          Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

–          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an ECT

–          Experience teaching within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

–          A strong understanding of safeguarding and child development

–          Excellent classroom management and communication skills

–          A positive, flexible, and proactive attitude
