Reception Teacher – Lambeth – September Start
An inclusive and nurturing primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator to join a vibrant school community that places a strong emphasis on child-centred learning, creativity, and early development. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating a stimulating and supportive environment where every child can thrive during their first year of formal education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere
- Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils' progress
- Monitor and assess children's development, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records
- Support the transition of children into the Reception year and prepare them for Key Stage 1
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching in Early Years, ideally within a Reception setting
- A nurturing, creative, and adaptable approach to teaching
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A genuine passion for early childhood education
