Macildowie are working with this client based in Rugby within the professional services sector to recruit a Temporary Receptionist.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an immediately available individual to join a welcoming and professional environment, acting as the first point of contact for visitors while supporting the wider team with administrative tasks.
Salary: £12.77 per hour
Employment Type: Temporary
Working Arrangement: Office-based
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Friday: 7:30am – 3:00pm
The Role
You will be responsible for managing the front-of-house function, ensuring all visitors and callers receive a professional and friendly experience, while also providing light administrative support to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Meeting and greeting visitors, ensuring a professional first impression
- Managing incoming calls and directing enquiries appropriately
- Handling incoming and outgoing post
- Supporting with general administrative tasks and data entry
- Maintaining a tidy and organised reception area
- Assisting the wider office team as required
About You
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Professional and approachable manner
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident using Microsoft Office and general office systems
- Reliable and punctual, with a proactive attitude
