If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you! Our client, is seeking a dedicated Temporary Receptionist to join their team!

Position Details:

  • Contract Type: Temporary
  • Pay Rate: £13.59 per hour
  • Location: Liverpool, L9
  • Working Hours:

– Monday to Friday
– 7 hours a day between 8am-5pm so would need to be flexible around those hours

  • Duration: Ongoing until at least December, with the possibility of extension

What You'll Do:
As the first point of contact for visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Greet & Welcome Visitors: Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests, ensuring they feel valued and supported.
    • Assist with Enquiries: Handle queries both over the phone and face-to-face, ensuring prompt and effective communication.
    • Operate the Switchboard: Manage incoming calls and sort mail with professionalism and efficiency.
    • Security Procedures: Adhere to security protocols by issuing passes and monitoring visitors using CCTV.
    • Basic Administration Duties:

– Conduct stock takes of provisions
– Handle printing, photocopying, binding, laminating, and shredding tasks
– Produce certificates as required

    • Manage Conference Facilities: Utilise Whitespace software to coordinate meeting spaces.
    • Document Preparation: Use Excel and Word to create and manage documents.
    • Maintain Stock Levels: Ensure the stationery cupboard is well stocked and organised.
    • Work to Deadlines: Prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
    • Additional Duties: Undertake other responsibilities as assigned by the Authority, aligned with your grade.

What We're Looking For:

    • A cheerful disposition and strong interpersonal skills
    • Excellent organisational abilities with an eye for detail
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel
    • A proactive attitude and the ability to work under pressure
    • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role would be an advantage

Please note this role will require a Standard DBS check the cost is £21.50
