Hays Norwich is a well-established office with strong coverage across the Norfolk region. This opportunity sits within a successful Business Support and Professional Services team, recruiting across a broad range of temporary roles including HR, procurement, and marketing.
You'll be part of a collaborative and supportive team with established client relationships and a strong local market presence, providing an excellent platform for both experienced recruiters and those looking to start a career in recruitment.
The Opportunity
We're looking for either an experienced Recruitment Consultant or an ambitious individual looking to retrain from a sales or customer service background. This is a fast-paced, candidate-led temporary desk with plenty of opportunity to build relationships and develop your market.
Responsibilities include:
- Recruiting temporary professionals across HR, procurement, marketing, and wider business support roles
- Sourcing, screening, and placing high-quality candidates
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and candidates
- Managing a busy temporary desk with multiple live vacancies
- Developing new business opportunities within the Norfolk area
- Delivering excellent customer service to both clients and candidates
- Meeting targets and contributing to overall team performance
Who Are We Looking For?
- Experience in recruitment or a background in sales/customer service with a desire to retrain
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Customer-focused with a consultative approach
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
