Recruitment Team Lead
Overview
We are supporting an urgent requirement for a Recruitment Team Lead to join a busy, recruitment function based at Hinkley Point. 2 days on site at Hinckley Point, 2 days in Bridgewater and 1 day working from home. This role is critical to ensuring continuity, stability, and delivery across a high-volume recruitment operation within a fast-paced environment.
Location & Hours
- Based on-site at Hinkley Point
- 39 hours per week
- Monday–Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
- Fridays: Alternating half-day or day off
Salary & Package
- Base Salary: £38,000
- Bonus: 8.65% guaranteed monthly bonus (total package approx. £41,000)
- Additional: Travel allowance dependent on distance
The Role
This is a hands-on leadership role within a high-volume, operational recruitment environment. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and overseeing end-to-end recruitment activity
- Managing hiring for high-volume, site-based operative roles
- Acting as an escalation point for recruitment challenges
- Building strong relationships with site leadership and key stakeholders
- Ensuring accurate administration, compliance, and reporting
- Managing and supporting a small team of internal recruiters
Team Structure
- Team of 3 recruiters (currently operating at 2.5 due to secondment)
- Full leadership responsibility for the recruitment function

Candidate Profile
Essential
- Strong in-house recruitment experience
- Experience within high-volume hiring environments
- Background in blue-collar sectors (e.g. construction, manufacturing, engineering, or similar)
- Proven ability to lead, manage, or mentor others
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail, process, and reporting
Desirable
- Experience in fast-paced, site-based or operational environments
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
