Recycling Operative With Counterbalance – Rotherham, South Yorkshire
People Solutions are currently recruiting for Recycling Operatives to join our well-established client based in Rotherham, South Yorkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, job security, and genuine potential for long-term progression.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Waste Recycling Operative, Sorting Operative (Recycling) or Recycling Facility Operative.
Shifts: Shift Pattern:Days (6.00am – 2.00pm), Afternoon (2.00pm – 10.00pm), Nights (10.00pm – 6.00am) (Sunday to Friday)
Rates of Pay: £13.55 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties
Approximately 25% of the shift is spent on an FLT the remainder of the shift is spent undertaking the Plant Operative role.
- Moving small skips/stillages around the working area
- Checking processed glass for contamination
- Removing contaminants off a picking belt
- Housekeeping / Cleaning
- Covering for colleagues on the picking belt
- Assisting Team Leader
Essential Skills
• Basic level of English
• Strong reliability and punctuality
• Counterbalance FLT licence
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in a food-waste environment
Training Provided
• Full training will be provided with ongoing support throughout
