We are recruiting on behalf of a respected company seeking a dedicated Refrigeration Engineer to join their team in Trafford Park. Duties of a Refrigeration Engineer:
- Servicing and maintaining refrigeration units, including GAH HVAC systems and Thermo King / Carrier refrigeration equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration faults
- Performing planned preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability as a Refrigeration Engineer
- Conducting F-Gas compliant work in accordance with industry standards
- Completing detailed service reports and documentation as a Refrigeration Engineer
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations
Requirements of a Refrigeration Engineer:
- Proven experience in refrigeration, HVAC, or PWC systems preferred
- Knowledge of GAH, Thermo King, and Carrier refrigeration systems advantageous; willingness to learn essential
- Strong fault-finding skills in electrical and mechanical systems
- F-Gas certification is mandatory
- Relevant engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work on-site
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
