We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established children's residential provider seeking a passionate and dedicated Registered Manager to lead a children's home in Southport. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people while leading a committed and supportive team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the children's home, ensuring the highest standards of care.
- Maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, Children's Homes Regulations, and Quality Standards.
- Promote positive outcomes for children and young people with a range of emotional and behavioural needs.
- Manage, motivate, and develop a residential care team through effective leadership and supervision.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed and embedded throughout the service.
- Monitor care plans, risk assessments, and placement outcomes.
- Drive continuous improvement and contribute to the home's development and growth.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or Children's Residential Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements and Children's Homes Regulations.
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
