The Recruitment Crowd are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Registered Manager to lead the launch of a brand-new domiciliary care branch.
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and commercially minded Registered Manager who wants to build a service from the ground up. You'll have the autonomy to develop a high-quality home care service, recruit and lead your own team, grow the branch, and ensure outstanding care is delivered to every client.
The Role
As the Registered Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management, growth, and regulatory compliance of the service. You will work closely with the Registered Provider to establish a successful branch that delivers person-centred care while achieving commercial objectives. This is a start-up branch, so you'll play a key role in shaping the service from its foundations.
Key Responsibilities
As this is a Registered Manager role within a new start-up branch, responsibilities will include:
- Caregiver recruitment and retention
- Business development and networking within the local community
- Quality assurance and CQC compliance
- Delivery of training to caregiver staff
- Building and leading a high-performing care team
- Managing the day-to-day operation of the branch
- Ensuring person-centred care plans and risk assessments are completed and regularly reviewed
- Maintaining excellent safeguarding standards
- Preparing for and managing CQC inspections
- Developing relationships with healthcare professionals, local authorities and community stakeholders
- Conducting audits, implementing improvements and driving continuous quality
- Managing budgets and ensuring the branch operates efficiently and profitably.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager within domiciliary care
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
- Experience recruiting, developing and managing care teams
- A passion for delivering exceptional person-centred care
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
- Business development experience or the confidence to grow a new service
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or working towards/eligible where appropriate)
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (preferred).
