Registered Manager to take the
lead
at our CQC-registered Widmore Road Learning Disability respite service.
In this pivotal role, you will shape the direction of the service, driving a culture of excellence and empowering your team to deliver consistently high standards of person-centred care
.
Working closely with the London Learning Disability Locality Manager, you’ll have the
autonomy
to
lead
, innovate, and continuously improve the service—ensuring it remains safe, effective, and truly
responsive
to the needs of the people we
support
.Your key responsibilities include:
- Delivering Outstanding Care
Ensuring individuals receive personalisedsupport
that promotes independence, dignity, choice, and inclusion, with care plans that reflect their evolving needs.
- Driving Quality & Compliance
Overseeing CQC registration and ensuring the Widmore Road service meets all regulatory and statutory requirements, maintaining safe, effective, and well-led services at all times. - Leading & Developing Teams
Providing day-to-day leadership to the staff team, ensuring effective management, clear direction, and ongoingsupport
to maintain high standards of care and
support
delivery.
- Ensuring Accountability
Managing safeguarding concerns, incidents, and complaints, while working closely with the Locality Manager to drive continuous improvement and ensure ongoing compliance across the service.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience as a Registered Manager is highly desirable.

Demonstrable experience of working within a respite service, ideally within the Learning Disability sector
.

Strong
understanding
of the adult social care sector and relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC requirements.

Proven leadership and management experience with the ability to effectively oversee a service and staff team
.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and
decision
-making skills.
- A flexible approach to working hours to meet the needs of the service.
- A minimum of 12 months remaining on your Right to work in the UK.
