cer Financial are working alongside an international bank, who are based in the City of London. They are seeking a Relationship Manager to work with them on a permanent basis.
The responsibilities of the Relationship Manager will include:
- Originate new property finance lending opportunities through client and broker relationships.
- Identify and develop high-potential lending and deposit customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with property investors, developers, brokers, and corporate clients.
- Provide tailored, risk-aligned lending solutions as a trusted advisor.
- Manage and grow a client portfolio, driving revenue, retention, and performance.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into completed deals.
- Assess borrower creditworthiness, asset quality, and repayment capacity.
- Complete due diligence and prepare credit proposals for approval.
- Structure lending transactions, including pricing, leverage, and covenant terms.
- Coordinate with internal teams to execute transactions efficiently.
- Monitor portfolio performance, covenant compliance, and credit risk.
- Conduct annual portfolio reviews and proactively manage emerging risks.
The successful candidate will have:
- 5+ years in UK property finance
- Proven origination track record
- Strong market knowledge
- Established broker and client relationships
