About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and inspiring Religious Studies Teacher to join a successful secondary school in Slough. This is a permanent role starting in September, suitable for both early career teachers and experienced practitioners.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and thought-provoking Religious Studies lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable)
- Encourage critical thinking, debate, and cultural understanding
- Plan, assess, and monitor student progress effectively
- Contribute to curriculum development within the department
- Uphold high standards of behaviour and academic achievement
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Religious Studies
- Ability to inspire and challenge students
- Commitment to inclusive and high-quality teaching
- Strong classroom management skills
