RESIDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT
An exciting opportunity for a customer-focused professional to join a vibrant residential community team. As a key part of day-to-day operations, you'll help create a welcoming, safe, and exceptional living experience for residents while delivering outstanding customer service at every touchpoint. This hands-on role is ideal for an enthusiastic and proactive team player who enjoys building relationships, solving problems, and contributing to a positive and engaging community environment.
RESIDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT ROLE:
- Acting as the first point of contact for residents, contractors and visitors, delivering a professional and welcoming customer experience
- Coordinating the day-to-day operations of the building, ensuring effective communication with residents and maintaining accurate records, logs and booking systems
- Managing resident enquiries, requests and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
- Handling post, parcels, correspondence and administrative documentation while maintaining GDPR compliance
- Raising and coordinating maintenance requests, liaising with contractors and supporting property upkeep and resident services
- Supporting apartment move-ins, move-outs, inspections, inventory management and re-letting processes
- Conducting health and safety checks, maintaining compliance records and following operational procedures and risk assessments
- Carrying out regular site inspections, supporting property viewings and working closely with management teams to deliver high service standards
RESIDENT SERVICES ASSISTANT ESSENTIALS:
- Demonstrating at least two years of experience in a customer-facing or building management role
- Maintaining an open, friendly and approachable manner
- Applying a proactive, problem-solving and goal-focused approach to work
- Delivering professional communication via phone, email and in person with a strong focus on customer service
- Providing exceptional customer service and building positive relationships with stakeholders
- Working as a dependable, enthusiastic and dedicated team player
- Using Microsoft Office confidently and efficiently
- Adapting quickly to and learning new systems and processes
