Residential Conveyancer
Location: Bury, Greater Manchester
A well-established and forward-thinking regional law firm is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Conveyancing to lead and develop its residential property team.

The Opportunity
You’ll take full ownership of a Conveyancing caseload, overseeing day-to-day operations while driving long-term performance and innovation.
This role requires leadership, technical expertise and commercial awareness. This role would be ideal for someone who thrives on responsibility and making a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and develop a small team of conveyancers and support staff
- Oversee a varied caseload of residential property matters (freehold, leasehold, new builds, remortgages, etc)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
- Implement and refine processes to improve efficiency and client experience
- Contribute to business development and maintain strong referrer relationships
- Manage performance metrics, KPIs and financial targets
About You
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or Legal Executive with significant conveyancing experience
- Proven leadership experience within a residential property team
- Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Commercially astute with an interest in driving growth and innovation
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
